Blankets and Cash Money distributed in Sherpur

SB Correspondent, Sherpur;  A blankets distribution program held at Bausa Dishari High School field in Nakla of Sherpur on Tuesday.

A total of 1,890 blankets have been distributed among the 1,890 students of 119 government primary school and 22 Ibtedayi Madrasah. Besides total 240,000 cash money have been distributed among the 480 talented students of 48 high schools and madrasas of the upazila and total Tk 1,760,000 cash money have been distributed of donations for the development among the 170 mosques of the upazila. Former Minister of Agriculture, President of Member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Agriculture and Presidium Member of Awami League Begum Matia Chowdhury MP was the chief guest in the program presided over by Nakla Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Zahidur Rahman.

On the occassion, distribution program was organized by upazila administration of Nakla at Bausa Dishari High School premises of Baneshwardi union in Nakla upazila of Sherpur, as part of the day-long program. According to the information provided by Upazila Awami League’s office secretary Khalilur Rahman- 1,890 blankets and Tk 240,000 distributed among the students who passed the two grade and ninth grad students of schol and madrasah. Beside, Tk 1,760,000 cash money distributed of donations for the development of 170 mosques in the upazila.
