Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is likely to join Bangladesh team for the first Test against Sri Lank
Starting May 15 in Chattogram as he has tested Covid-19 negative. BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu said, “Shakib has tested Covid-19 negative, and he is going to Bangladesh team for the first Test against Sri Lanka”.
BCB Senior Media Manager Rabid Imam said Shakib Al Hasan may join Bangladesh team for the first Test against Sri Lanka. Shakib has tested Covid-19 negative but he did not get fitness report yet. After getting it, he will join the team”.
Earlier, Shakib tested positive for Covid-19 on May 10 after returning from the USA.
