Journalist Nadeem’s murder: Sristy Human Rights’ call for exemplary punishment

Banglanews24.com’s Jamalpur District Correspondent Golam Rabbani Nadeem was killed in an attack by miscreants. Sristy Human Rights Society, a human rights organization, has strongly demanded to ensure justice by taking legal action against those involved in the murder.

Anwar-e-Taslima, chairman of the organization, issued a protest statement on Saturday (June 17).

Anwar-e-Taslima said that such incidents are a threat to the smooth performance of professional duties of journalists and freedom of media. We strongly condemn the brutal killing of journalist Nadeem while doing his duty with honesty and devotion. We demand exemplary trial of Nadeem’s killers by ensuring speedy and fair investigation to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
