Sherpur: Eid gifts distributed by the district police on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr among the families of martyrs and Jaya mothers of Sohagpur Widow Palli (Village) in Nalitabari Upazila of Sherpur district on Friday afternoon.

Sherpur district police superintendent (SP) Hasan Nahid Chowdhury handed over the Eid gifts to the family members of the martyr and Jaya mothers.

Among others, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (Nalitabari Circle) Afroz Nazneen, Punak president Kazi Monalisa Maria, Nalitabari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Bashir Ahmed Badal, District Intelligence Branch (DB) Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Mansur Ahmed, officers of the district police and Nalitabari thana, Jaya mothers of the widowed Palli and members of the martyr’s family were present.

SP Hasan Nahid Chowdhury inquired about the members of the martyr’s family and Jaya’s mother. He assured to install deep tube wells to facilitate the supply of pure water to protect the health services of those family members.
