A chase and counter-chase took place between Chhatra Dal men and police members in front of Jatiya Press Club in the capital on Sunday while they brought out a protest procession.
Chhatra Dal activists started hurling brickbats targeting police, which forced the law enforcers to charge baton on them and fire tear gas shells. Several people, including the law enforcers were injured in the incident.
